Arrival for Camping Pitches is (12 noon to 10pm) Departure time is before (12 noon)
Arrival for Holiday Lets is (2.00pm till 10pm) Departure time is before (10am)
Making your booking
Once you have made a booking you will received an email with all your, dates and payment details and a site map, you can reply to this email at anytime with the reply
button built in, where you can ask any questions for eg or send any documents, we will
also send you on this message board (via your email) a digital registration form later and any welcome info ie directions and passcodes.
Do you allow children?
We are an adult only camping and caravan site (children are 16 and under)
In exceptional circumstances children may be present with the managements discretion and with strict health and safety rules applied for children attending a private event and only in the holiday lets and a few camping pitches away from the main campsite. No ball games or ride on bikes. Children must be supervised by an adult - AT ALL TIMES.
Do you allow dogs?
Yes - and dogs must be on a lead at all times around the campsite,
For camping pitches it’s a max of 2 x non-dangerous dogs per pitch.
For Holiday lets it’s 1 x non-dangerous dog per holiday
NOTE: We do not allow any dogs or pets in (The Boat House)
Do you allow group bookings?
No young persons group bookings or stag parties
With the only exception of when a person has hired the whole of (the pond side only field) and venue for a private party (usually a wedding party) where strict health and safety rules have been applied.
Do you allow tents?
YES - we have the (Pond Side) grass pitches 21/22/23/24 for small to medium size tents.
There is also grass pitches (paddock side) for
small /medium/large tents -
pitches 4 or 8.
Is there a bar onsite for food?
No - the onsite VENUE (Pitch 21) is used solely for private hired functions, but we do
have takeaway menus in reception where food is delivery to your pitch from local
business’s, there are also local pubs serving food in the area called "Constable Arms" in
Sproatley (1 mile drive) serving breakfast /dinner and “The Stag Inn in” Lelley (2 mile drive)
Are visitors allowed? Yes 2pm till 5pm
Yes - each pitch is allowed to have no more than 5 guests (inc yourself) for eg, (2 people in a caravan can have up to 3 visitors) holiday lets its 2 visitors per holiday let. All visitors must report to reception before entering the campsite and their cars to be parked in our main car park.
Are they any walks near by?
There are 2 public footpaths starting 1/2 mile away from the site through some great
scenery, we recommend you drive there to start the walk - one leads to the Stag inn in Lelley
Noise and music?
Around the campsite noise is to be kept at a minimum during the hours of 9am to 10pm
and completely quiet from 10pm to 9am. During a night where we have a private event
we may hear a dull sound till 12 midnight from the bar and we ask anyone leaving an event at that time to be respectful of noise out side when leaving.
PARKING - Where do I park my car, or commercial vehicle?
You can park your (one car only right outside your pitch or holiday let) extra cars or commercial vehicles will need to be parked in our main car park.
Buses or Taxis and Transport
BY BUS - Spring Valley has it's own bus stop outside the gates, here is the online bus time table link HERE for the 277 to Hull (a 20 minute ride)
BY CAR - It take approx 20 minutes to drive into Hull and there are plenty of parking
BY TAXI - Call: 01482 575757 costs are around £14 into Hull from the campsite.
